Queen Margherita & The May Queen (2018). Materials: Knitting needle, blanket, found objects, glass beads & pearls. Dimensions: H425xW190xD20 & H400xW145xD20mm. The form echoes hatpins of the early 1900s and the shape is inspired by the Musy Tiara worn by 2 of the last 3 queens of Italy. Created for Don’t Jettison Everything at Mundaring Arts Centre. Focus on upcycling discarded objects/materials.

Approx dimensions each: H535xW230xD27. Materials: Felted wool, found objects, wire, fingernails and hair. Inspired by Chatelaine attachments, Leopold, Alexandrina and Beatrice have been fabricated in olive as an homage to the toxic nature of green pigment in Queen Victoria’s time.
