Queen Margherita & The May Queen (2018). Materials: Knitting needle, blanket, found objects, glass beads & pearls. Dimensions: H425xW190xD20 & H400xW145xD20mm. The form echoes hatpins of the early 1900s and the shape is inspired by the Musy Tiara worn by 2 of the last 3 queens of Italy. Created for Don’t Jettison Everything at Mundaring Arts Centre. Focus on upcycling discarded objects/materials.
